Nothing made me more proud than being asked by my assistant Judea to capture her recent engagement to Luis.
Recently inspired by Netflix's 'Daredevil', I've acquired a taste for darker and bolder palettes. Greenpoint, Brooklyn and Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan complimented Luis and Judea's style and overall aesthetic so well that the city ceased to be just a backdrop but a stage.
Luis and Judea are no strangers to Hell's Kitchen, the neighborhood being the site of many of their dates. We found niches of beautiful light within Gotham West Market. Fortunately, an evening storm gave us the proper moment to keep shooting. I'm so glad my cameras are okay after a few strong gusts of New York City rain. It was such a pleasure!
